Failure is never something that anyone will feel comfortable with and it’s definitely not something that we ever strive for. When you stop trying new things because of that fear, you start to run into problems. Far too often, people are afraid to take chances or put 100% of themselves behind something, but in reality failure is what sets you on your path to success.

The best way to succeed at anything is to fail harder and more often. When you do, you can learn from those mistakes, do a course correction and get back on your path to success.

Action STEP:

Determine one thing that you’ve been afraid to try because you were afraid of failure. There’s no magic wand to wave here. Allow yourself to believe that whether you succeed or fail, you’re further ahead than you were yesterday. Just do it and give it all you have.
