I think you’ve all heard me say that you can’t run a business by looking through the rear view mirror. This week’s quote is an add-on to that thought. Let me explain…

If you don’t have a plan – no, a clear plan – then how do you expect others to follow your vision? If you don’t set expectations – no, clear expectations – for your employees, then how will they know exactly what you want from them?

I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. The more clear you get, the more effective the people around you become! There are no muddy waters or gray areas. Only clear waters, clean map, and a path to move forward to success.

It can be hard to pick one spot to start making changes, so I am going to help you. Let’s start building better checklists for your restaurant.
