Quick Tip #31

Social Media isn’t a place to sell your stuff, it’s a place to engage with customers. Stop taking pictures of your restaurant and food and tell people to come in and buy. They want to make their own choices. People don’t want to be sold, but they love to buy!
Take a picture of your beer, and say what would you change? They will engage with you in a human to human conversation and you might learn something that gives you a better beer offering. If they say I want this brand and you change that, they feel special and want to come in even more. They want to bring their friends in and show them.

Please stop using social media as a place to advertise (as often), its place to connect and engage with people, they will connect the dots themselves!
