“The restaurant business is hard, therefore it’s easier to succeed.” – Ryan Gromfin
The restaurant business is HARD. It’s complicated. It’s tough. And that’s exactly why I love it so much. I love that you need to have a complete accounting system that makes sense and works flawlessly. I love that you have to rely so heavily on your staff to make you a success.
If this was easier – everyone would be doing well at it.
When you take the time to really learn this business and you start to work smarter by using the tools that are out there to help you, it’s nearly impossible to not succeed. People really only fail in this business when they aren’t willing to put in the time and effort to do it right.
Action STEP:
Write down the one thing that you complain most often about in your restaurant business because it’s too hard, difficult to wrap your head around or causes you the biggest headache.
If it’s a matter of dedicating more time to getting better at it, and you can afford to put the time in – then do it. Otherwise, just outsource it. Taking that huge weight off your shoulders is going to feel great.
