They know that the items they choose cost money, but you don’t need $ signs to get them thinking about it more.

You want them to order what they will enjoy the most, not what is the cheapest.  If want they want is the least expensive item on the menu, thats fine, but you want to present a menu with amazing food options and juicy descriptions, not a price list with $$$ signs all over it.
