When I meet with a new client, I am always asked “How is my cost” and you all know that I respond I don’t care (for more information why I don’t care watch my FREE Restaurant Training Series) then I am given a long drawn out story about “if I could only find good employees.”  The reality is, they are good, actually most of your employees are great, and they will battle for you, they will bleed for you, as a chef I know that they have.  So where’s the disconnect?  The answer is a lack of engagement and alignment!  For more strategy and management tips for independent restaurant owners and operators please visit
